I’m Kanitria Ponder, founder of Ponder Principle Consulting.

I’m a J.D.-trained ethics, compliance, and governance professional with experience supporting global ethics and compliance initiatives within a Fortune 1 organization. Throughout my career, I’ve worked at the intersection of workplace investigations, regulatory compliance, legal operations, governance, and organizational risk, partnering with HR, Legal, and business leaders to help navigate complex workplace challenges and strengthen ethical decision-making.

I founded Ponder Principle because I believe organizations shouldn’t have to wait for a lawsuit, investigation, or regulatory inquiry before investing in ethics and compliance. Whether an organization has 20 employees or 20,000, building a culture of integrity starts with clear expectations, trusted reporting processes, and leaders who are committed to doing the right thing.

Today, I help organizations strengthen compliance programs, improve workplace policies and reporting processes, identify emerging risks, and navigate the rapidly evolving intersection of ethics, governance, employment law, and artificial intelligence.
