Meet the Founder
I’m Kanitria Ponder, founder of Ponder Principle Consulting. I’m an ethics, compliance, and governance professional with a Juris Doctor and experience supporting global ethics and compliance initiatives within a Fortune 1 organization. Throughout my career, I’ve worked at the intersection of workplace investigations, regulatory compliance, governance, legal operations, and organizational risk, partnering with HR, Legal, and business leaders to navigate complex workplace challenges and strengthen ethical decision-making.
I founded Ponder Principle because I believe organizations shouldn’t have to wait for a lawsuit, investigation, or regulatory inquiry before investing in ethics and compliance. Whether an organization has 10 employees or 20,000, building a culture of integrity starts with clear expectations, trusted reporting channels, and leaders who are committed to doing the right thing.
Today, I help organizations strengthen ethics and compliance programs, improve workplace policies and reporting systems, identify emerging risks, and build practical governance frameworks that support long-term organizational integrity. I also advise on emerging issues at the intersection of ethics, governance, employment, and artificial intelligence.
My goal is simple: to help organizations build cultures where integrity is embedded in everyday decision-making—not just written into policies.
